Blue's Crew News
News from 2006 2005 2004 2003
December 9th- Well, the Crew is back from Houston where we played in the Texas Throwdown. What a blast! Blue wishes to thank Mother and PacMan of MXS for their "Texan" hospitality! Great food, great drink and great fellowship! Hope we get a chance to play with y'all again!
November 22nd- The Crew threw their fearless leader, Blue, a surprise brunch at the Green Gables to say thank you for a first great season together. Put together by yours truly, the Press Wench, it was a great time! Thank you to all that showed up! Huge thanks to Blue's Mom, Hilda, who came up with idea of saying her car broke down in front of the restaurant to get Blue to leave the field! Also thanks to Rick from Morgan Awards for making an awesome plaque! Check out the pictures in our picture section!
Blue's Crew has already begun to confirm dates for the 2004 season! Check out our schedule section and see where we'll be playing next year! The Blue plague is spreading.....
November 2nd - ET Paintball in NJ invited the Crew to play in their Toys for Tots game. Hosted by Paintballfusion.com and the Freaks of Nature, all the sale of the paint went to the Sussex County Red Cross. It was a good cause and a good time!
October 25th - After wearing his hair long for 20 years, Blue's Crew member, JR Chantry, shaved his head at the MXS game, Return to Wolf's Lair. He raised $1500 for Kayleigh Wilkes, the daughter of fellow paintball player Kevin "Joker" Wilkes. Thank you to all that donated to this worthy cause, especially all JR's co-workers at MedEx, who donated a huge portion! Check out the photos of the head shaving in the picture section!
September 6th - The Crew made it's second appearance at WestPoint this weekend, playing in the Cadets fall game, The Hunt for Pablo Escobar. The action on the field was intense, with rivers, bridges and bumpy terrain to traverse! Even though the team did not win with points, the Crew kicked butt! Proving once again that we are paintball warriors, we don't need no stinkin' points! Thank you Cadets! We will be back in April!
August 31st - Blue's Crew served as security for William Shatner at Spplat Attack II, held at EMR recently. BLUE also was one of the MAGNIFICENT 7, (Shatners elite squad of Generals) for the second year in a row helping to lead his side to another win. The crew stood 30 strong, waiting for Shatner to make his grand entrance. Also worth mentioning is Tony "Not Bob" Jackson, Blue's Crew member, who served as William Shatner's "personal bitch" for the day, filling pods, carrying water and anything else Shatner needed for the day. A fabulous time was had by all, and lots of money was raised for charity.
July 29th - The Crew is back from the Michigan Monster Game and counting the
welts! What a game! 2000+ players going non stop in the Michigan humidity!
The Crew totally dominated the field again, wiping out everything in it's
path, thanks to Atomic Ordiance and their awesome grenades! Thanks to Dave &
Kelly Massey for their hospitality on and off the field! The Crew will be
back next year!
Pictures and article for Michigan coming soon!
