Blue's Crew News
News from 2006 2005 2004 2003
November 30- The buzz is beginning already for the 2005 paintball season! Looks like Blue and the Crew are going to be busier than ever spreading the blue around the Northeast and further! We have lots of new sponsors coming on board and new fields to try! The first new field to host the Crew in 2005 will be Pyro Paintball in New Jersey. They will be producing a Viper Scenario game there in April. Looks like its going to be a good one! Check out our schedule section to see where else the Crew will be playing in 2005! But be sure to check back often, things are always changing around here!
November 5th - Blue, Sue and the Crew played at Strategy Plus in East Hampton, Connecticut for a Halloween game. Thanks to Chris O'Grady and the fabulous ref staff we all had a blast! The Oxford Paintball Club turned out to play against the Crew; they gave us a great run for our money! We can't wait to do it all again next year! I have to apologize again for taking so long getting the pictures up, I caught a nasty cold that kept me from my computer! So, wait are you waiting for? Go to the picture section and check them out! :)
October 18th - Construction on Fort Worr at EMR has begun! This weekend, several members of the Crew from home teams Demaskus, PA Brew Crew, Hellraisers and the Boneheads came out to lend their support in helping Blue construct this massive 30,000 structure. Blue wishes to thank all that attended the work weekend, including the GOB guys, Kevin, Don, Jim and Dwayne..you guys really knew what you were doing! Much thanks to Tom for running that Bobcat all day as well! Check out the pictures in the Picture section!
October 4th - Congratulations to Blue's Crew/DOTW members Scott "Ugly" Uglay, Jason "Wyrm" Rossow and Chris "Otter" Ott on leading a successful defense against the attackers of Castle Conquest 18 this past weekend. Defenders held the Castle for 3 full hours with the help of other teams like Carter's Commando, Canadian Contigent, Demaskus, PubCrawling and more....News is already spreading that the Crew will be attacking in the Spring Castle Conquest next April.
September 27th - The Crew headed to Paintball Depot for their Fall Big Game this weekend. Great weather, great game and a great barbeque for all! Thanks Dave, Rick and Cathy for hosting the Crew yet again!
August 17th - Michigan photos are up! Sorry for the delay! Unexpected computer problems!
July 28th- The Crew is back from Michigan and counting the welts! What a blast! With 3000 people there, it wasn't hard to find a fire fight! Blue and Crew want to thank Dave and Kelly Massey and their incredible staff for putting on another awesome Monster Game! Their hospitality at the Blue Martini was much appreciated by me, Amy The Girl, the Press Wench-it was quite moving to have the whole bar sing Happy Birthday to me! I couldn't imagine spending my birthday anywhere else! Thanks guys! Pictures coming soon!
July 12th- Blue and the Crew played at Paintball Depot this past weekend in New Jersey. Dave and Rick did a great job last year running the game and this year was no different! Putting the entire place up against the Crew was a blast! With the Crew's philosophy of running no missions or scoring points it was no surprise when the other team won against us 1520 to nothing! But, we gave the team a serious run for their money and totally dominated the field...as it should be! Big thanks to Jeannie for the fabulous cake and barbeque...the Crew will return!
July 2nd- Blue and the Crew are featured in a book! Called Paintball Digest by Rick Sapp, it an informational guide to paintball and you know that had to include the Crew! Filled with everything that you could think of about paintball, it is definately worth picking up a copy! Be sure to check out the interview with Blue and our Press Wench, Amy The Girl, featured in the Women in Paintball section! Click here to see who is reading Paintball Digest!
May 17th- Rick "Mr. Dead Guy" Pittilla from Team Demaskus is the Crew's newest full member! His hard work on and off the field did not go un-noticed by our fearless leader, Blue, and was asked to join the Crew full time at the Coram game. Welcome to Blue's Crew Rick!
May 16th- The Crew played in Cousin's Big Game this weekend at Coram, New
York. We are sore, tired and bruised but we had a blast!! Many thanks to
Dean and Jerry for hosting the Crew! We would also like to thank the Wild
Geese and Canadian Contigent for sharing their camp compound with us again
this year. Can't wait until next year already! Photos of the game will post
soon!

April 30th- Blue and the Crew did an outstanding job defending the Castle this past weekend. We wish to thank all those who defended with us inside. Kudos to Joint Fury who managed to get out the last prop in just under two hours. There is already talk of a role reversal-Joint Fury defending in the Fall, Blue's Crew attacking! More info and pictures of Castle coming soon!
April 22nd-April 17th was supposed to be the Boys and Girls Club charity paintball event. Unfortunately, the game was postponed. Since the Crew found themselves with a free weekend, 18 of us headed up to EMR for last minute field preparations before Castle Conquest. The new towers came out fabulous..we can't wait to defend the Castle! Blue and the Crew are ready! See you there! And stayed tuned for the new date for the Maryland game!
April 5th- The Crew has returned from their first official game of the 2nd season! We thank the West Point cadets for hosting the Crew yet again at the Spring Big Game. It was a difficult game: Operation Iraqi Freedom: The Push to Baghdad, with the Crew starting out on the Iraqi side. We were then switched to the American side for extra re-inforcements, but to no avail. In the end, the Iraqi's won. But, all and all, it was a great game. The Crew will be back in September for the fall game! Check back for pictures coming soon!
March 8th- Blue is going to the Big House!! On March 24th, Blue will be locked up and held for bail with all the proceeds going to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.Bail has been set at $1050 to get Blue out of jail!
